The mountain music

And what I mean about mountain music is mountains and music.

We went up on a gondola and it was a long ride.


And there was a playground at the top. And there was a wooden tractor and a wooden train and a wooden snail.


And we got hot chocolate at the top, too.


And this is what Bansko looked like when we were coming down.


And then we went to a jazz festival. And I did a little rock climbing because there was a waterfall and some rocks right in the town square. And from all the training of rock climbing I did at Camp Fowler, I'm a professional rock climber!!

My day in Banskoooooh!

Today we went into the center of Bansko and we got some maps. And I drew with my dad's pen in all of them.


We got some fries and it's called kartofki here. And we walked around and I saw this cool statue.


And then after rest time we went to a swimming pool. And for dinner we had pasta and apples and some yoghurt you can drink.


And then we took a little walk around our hotel.

When we finally got to Bulgaria

Yesterday we tried to get to Bulgaria but our car didn't have a passport. And here we are at the border we couldn't cross:


So we went to a very nice hotel. And we went swimming at this pool:


Today we took two taxis.


And here we are at our hotel in Bansko:

Where we stayed this week

We have been staying in Neo Pori, Greece, this week. We have been staying at this hotel:


It is run by Theo Siokas. Here we are together:

The beach is so close to our hotel we can walk to it.


The water is really salty.

And we are 7 hours ahead of you. And we were eating dinner you were eating lunch.

Relaxing beach day

This is my new favorite chocolate cake. We're saving the rest of it for later because it is so good.


Besides eating cake, today I spent most of my day at the beach. And I swam and am now so tired I can't say anything more.

The monastery on Mount Olympos

Chew chew chew chew. Hi. This is part of my day. Prepare to be amazed.

I climbed up Mt. Olympos and we saw a monastery. It was being restored.


And we saw two lizards. This is a picture of one of them.


I lit a prayer candle inside the monastery church. And then I said a little prayer.


I found a mini cave and I went into it. It's a good thing there weren't any bats in there.


And then we went to see a waterfall. It was beautiful. I got a few more pictures on my camera so you can see them when I get home.

And I was chewing on some pasta for my dinner tonight.
